2. How long can I use recime for free?
Its free forever. However, our free plan is good for personal and community bots. Your bots are running with limited resource.
3. What is key-value storage?
A key-value store, or key-value database, is a data storage paradigm designed for storing, retrieving, and managing associative arrays, a data structure more commonly known today as a dictionary or hash. Dictionaries contain a collection of objects, or records, which in turn have many different fields within them, each containing data. These records are stored and retrieved using a key that uniquely identifies the record, and is used to quickly find the data within the database.
key-value is designed to help you store conversational states and quickly store and retrieve data that will enable you to build a more engaging and personalized experience for your users. Please checkout the documentation for further information.
4. What happens if I go over the key-value store limit while on the free plan?
key-value store or key-value database is designed to store/ retrieve dictionary or hash values. It is backed by Amazon DynamoDB and useful for storing conversational states. Using free plan you can store up to 100 unique keys, going beyond that will give you a “limit exceeded” exception. In case your bot requires additional key-value, you can upgrade plans to add additional values.

You can upgrade your plan at any time through the billing page of the recime dashboard or simply send us an email at email@example.com.
6. What are my payment options?
You can pay using credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express).

8. Why is WeChat only part of the Enterprise plan?
WeChat requires special attention when it comes to deploying bots to your WeChat admin account. There are some requirements for hosting bots in WeChat platform therefore we would need to review the bot and make sure all the criterias are fulfilled and the bot is not violating any terms as mentioned in WeChat terms of service:

9. How does memory and computing power affect my bot?
The amount of memory is allocated for your bot is proportional to CPU and other resources. The higher the memory size, the higher the CPU and lower the latency. Our free plan is designed for personal and community use. If your bot is doing processor intensive tasks and requires faster execution then it is recommended to upgrade to our “medium” plan that is designed and tested for most scenarios. 10. How to use external modules with recime bots?
Recime supports npmjs modules therefore you use can thousands of npm modules for free or builds that solves your specific problem. Please check out https://docs.npmjs.com/ for more information.
11. Why are bots removed after 30 days of inactivity in the FREE plan?
Each bot gets its own stack including the API and serverless function. We want to ensure a high value on what types of bots will be built using our platform. We will review and monitor each bot and guide you through the process of building a successful bot. Considering the fact, we will disable any bots inactive for more than 30 days. Although, inactive, it is still being allocated resources but we will like to work with you on a case by case basis. Please reach out to us for any questions regarding your bot.
